Last Week on the Farm

Our newest Chickens have escaped their grain bin home and are picking bugs!

Even the Hens were affected by storm damage.  Although, they enjoy hiding and picking amongst the branches.

We started last week butchering a few of our 17 Turkeys.  This was our first year with these big birds.  Our first one was a 30lb dressed weight bird!  We finished up 32 chickens a few weeks ago.

Whippy Tail was a bit tired of the heat as well!

A big Thank you to a great Customer, Kristl, who used some blooms and greenery (Lemon Basil, Yarrow, Amaranth) to make these lovely bouquets!

Like every year from late spring to late summer, we fight with these guys.  They do enjoy partaking in our hens feed and also our outdoor cats food.  Amongst the other things they chew on.
